Swoboda Fuerth creates injection molding tool for big customer

Swoboda's competence center for toolmaking has been located in Fuerth since 2016. Recently, the Franconian site received an order from a major manufacturer of protective equipment.

In an automated injection molding process with two different plastic components, temples for occupational safety goggles will be produced starting next year.

The contact persons at the customer were pleased that Swoboda not only concentrated on the production of the molding tool, but also took a holistic view of the development, design and use of this production technology.

In the new Injection Molding and Molds competence area, Swoboda teams from the Fuerth toolmaking shop and the plastics technology department at the Wiggensbach location work closely together. In this way, Swoboda is pooling its know-how in the field of injection molding technology in order to be able to respond even more specifically to customer requirements.
