The Battery Cell Contacting System (CCS) is primarily used in battery packs and battery systems of electric vehicles and other battery-powered applications. It connects the individual battery cells both in series and in parallel. The Swoboda CCS is specifically designed for prismatic and cylindrical cell types and offers additional features such as temperature and voltage monitoring, passive cell balancing, and isolated daisy-chain communication.
